Julie Cohen earns credentials from International Coach Federation
July 2004 -
Career and personal coach Julie Cohen has earned the Professional Certified
Coach designation, becoming one of only about 1,170 credentialed coaches
among the 20,000 to 25,000 coaches worldwide, according to statistics
from the International Coach Federation.
Cohen, formerly an internal executive coach with
Cap Gemini Ernst & Young U.S. LLC, a professional IT services and consulting firm,
received her credentials from the International Coach Federation, the world’s
largest non-profit professional association of personal and business
coaches. ICF establishes professional standards and defines and supports
ethics within the coaching profession. Coaching is a professional partnership
which assists clients in achieving more fulfilling results in their
personal and professional lives. To earn the PCC designation, Cohen
had to, among other requirements, complete 750 hours of client coaching,
125 hours of coach-specific training and pass written and oral exams.
Cohen, immediate past president of the Philadelphia
Area Coaches Alliance, a regional chapter of the International
Coach Federation, is the founder of Julie Cohen Coaching which
specializes in helping clients gain greater career satisfaction.
In her work, Cohen challenges her clients to think differently
to achieve the results they want. Coaching, she says, “propels
people forward while helping them gain deeper personal awareness, making
change possible.”
Cohen offers a complimentary coaching consultation for anyone interested
in experiencing the power of coaching.
